Gyū·Shige
A dark editorial site for a premium Japanese yakiniku restaurant, pairing charcoal backgrounds with amber accents and immersive tableside storytelling.
Premium yakiniku brands compete on experience, not price — yet most restaurant sites default to template layouts that could belong to any dining category. The challenge is translating the ritual of Japanese BBQ (the cut, the flame, the grade) into a web narrative that makes a reservation feel like the natural next step.
GSAP ScrollTrigger drives a horizontal meat-cut gallery that mimics flipping through a tasting menu. Each section entrance is a slow cross-fade from black, so every screen feels like a reveal. The booking CTA is pinned to viewport bottom after the hero so it is always one tap away without interrupting the story.
