Cross-platform mobile app for patient health monitoring, telemedicine consultations, and medication management.

MedConnect wanted to bridge the gap between patients and healthcare providers with a mobile-first platform. The existing system relied on phone calls and paper records, leading to missed appointments, medication non-adherence, and delayed diagnoses. They needed a HIPAA-compliant solution that worked seamlessly on both iOS and Android while integrating with popular wearable devices like Apple Watch and Fitbit.

We built a React Native application with a shared codebase for iOS and Android, achieving 95% code reuse. Firebase provided real-time messaging, authentication, and cloud functions for backend logic. We implemented HealthKit and Google Fit integrations for automatic vital sign syncing from wearables, a secure video consultation system using WebRTC, and an AI-powered symptom checker using TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference. All data transmission was encrypted end-to-end, and the architecture was designed to meet HIPAA compliance requirements.
