Travel Currency Go
A free offline currency converter app for travellers: 166 currencies, a built-in calculator and saved rates. On the App Store and Google Play.
Abroad, the price tag is in a currency you don't think in, and the moment you need a conversion is often the moment you lose signal: on a plane, in a market, on roaming you'd rather not pay for. Most currency apps assume a live connection, bury the number under ads, and make you jump to a separate calculator just to total two items.
We designed one screen that does both jobs: a converter where any row can be the input and a calculator keypad that never leaves the view. Exchange rates for 166 currencies download while you're online and stay on the device, with a clear "updated" timestamp, so conversions keep working offline. Currencies can be searched by code or name and reordered by drag; names are localised in all 12 supported languages. Amounts, lists and preferences never leave the phone, and the whole app is free with an optional one-time tip that unlocks nothing.
