EXPERIENCE DOSSIER — 2026
Fruit
Jelly.
Soft as jelly. Answering every touch.
A plate of fruit jelly you can stretch, press, squeeze, slice and stamp right in the browser. ToanKhonTech built Fruit Jelly Studio to show that the feeling of touch can be designed too.
See the five gestures
From image to sensation
The screen is flat. The feeling isn’t.
Most websites are made to be looked at. Fruit Jelly Studio asks the opposite question: if every touch came back with its own bounce, give and sound, how long would people stay? The answer is a plate of jelly to play with, no lengthy instructions required.

FIVE GESTURES
Every touch. Its own reply.
- 01
Stretch
Hold a point and pull: the jelly stretches, then wobbles back when released. Switch on whole-piece moving to lift and arrange the plate.
- 02
Press
Touch the surface and drag down to press a dent. The deeper you go, the clearer the dent before it recovers.
- 03
Squeeze
Hold and drag down to compress the whole piece. Let go and the material returns to its original shape.
- 04
Knife
Draw a line across a piece lying flat. The cut runs through its full depth and leaves two independent pieces.
- 05
Cutter
Choose a star, heart, flower or circle and tap the fruit. The cutter punches a real hole and a new piece of jelly pops out.

The language of softness
Cream ground. Italic type. The jelly takes the lead.
The interface steps back like a porcelain tray: warm cream, slanted serif type, hairline borders. Every vivid colour belongs to the fruit. Each piece is a true volumetric mesh, so a cut runs through its full depth and the jelly trembles with the force of your hand.
Jelly
Clear, glossy, quick to bounce back.
Pudding
Opaque, settles fast, holds its shape.
Mochi
Matte, the softest, stretches far and recovers slowly.

These images only hold a moment. Open the website to stretch, slice, stamp and hear the jelly answer back.

Our role
One plate of jelly. Many ways to play.
Fruit Jelly Studio is a ToanKhonTech showcase of interactive 3D capability. The simulation favours the feeling of touch over physical accuracy, with up to 14 pieces per plate. The interface is in Vietnamese, and the project does not represent a client’s commercial results.
- Five gestures: stretch, press, squeeze, knife and cutter
- Three materials, jelly, pudding and mochi, each with its own softness and bounce
- Undo, redo and a half-speed motion replay
- 2048 px photos and WebM video with ASMR sound
- Two challenges: a perfectly even cut, a plate arranged to a pattern
- Touch, keyboard shortcuts and reduced-motion support
